Every coloring page here downloads as a print-ready PDF and as a PNG image. Here is how to get the sharpest result on a home printer.
1. Use the PDF, not the image
The PDF is built at the exact page size with the correct margins. Printing the PNG from a browser often scales the artwork down and adds white borders.
2. Pick the right paper size
We publish both A4 (210 × 297 mm — Europe, most of the world) and US Letter (8.5 × 11 in — United States, Canada). Choose the one that matches the paper in your tray. Printing an A4 file on Letter paper, or the reverse, will crop the edges.
3. Set scaling to 100%
In the print dialog choose Actual size or 100% rather than “Fit to page”. Our files already include a safe printable margin.
4. Choose the right paper
- Standard copy paper (80 g/m²) — fine for crayons and coloured pencils.
- Heavier paper (120 g/m² or card stock) — use this for markers and watercolour so the ink doesn’t bleed through.
5. Print in black and white to save ink
Our line art is pure black on white. Select Black & white or Grayscale in your printer settings — the result is identical and uses far less ink. Draft quality is usually enough and prints faster.
