10 things to do with a finished coloring page
Colouring is only half of it. Here is what to do with the page once the pencils go down.
1. Create a Dragon Mobile
Cut out the colored dragons and attach them to a sturdy string. Hang the string from a wooden dowel or a coat hanger. Use tape or glue to secure the string. You can add beads or paper clouds for extra decoration.
2. Make Dragon Bookmarks
Trim the colored dragons into bookmark shapes, around 2 inches wide and 6 inches long. Laminate them for durability using adhesive laminating sheets. Punch a hole at the top and add a colorful ribbon for a practical reading companion.
3. Design Dragon Greeting Cards
Fold a blank card in half. Glue your colored dragon onto the front of the card. Write a personal message inside. Use colored markers to add borders or designs around the edges for a unique touch perfect for any occasion.
4. Create a Dragon Puzzle
Glue the colored dragon page onto a thick piece of cardboard. Once dry, carefully cut it into puzzle pieces of various shapes and sizes. Store the pieces in a small bag for a fun personalized game.
5. Make a Dragon Wall Art
Frame the finished coloring page in a stylish frame. Hang it in a child's bedroom or playroom for a fun decoration. Optionally, add glitter or stickers around the edges of the frame for added flair.
6. Craft a Dragon Party Hat
Cut the dragon coloring page into a cone shape. Roll it into a hat and glue the edges together. Decorate with sequins or feathers. Punch holes on the sides and attach an elastic string to wear at a party.
7. Create a Dragon Storybook
Fold several sheets of blank paper in half and staple them together. Glue a colored dragon page on the cover. Encourage your child to write a short story about their dragon, using the pages for illustrations and text.
8. Make Dragon Stick Puppets
Cut out the colored dragons and glue them onto wooden craft sticks. Allow them to dry. Use these stick puppets for storytelling or to perform a small play. Enhance the story with props from around the house.
9. Create a Dragon Wall Calendar
Cut the colored dragons into 12 rectangles, one for each month. Attach them to a large paper or poster board and write the month names below. Hang it on the wall to keep track of dates with artistic flair.
10. Make a Dragon Calendar
Cut out the dragons along with a grid for the current month. Glue the grid onto the colored page and add the dates. Hang it on the fridge or wall. Use stickers to mark important days throughout the month.
How to print these pages
Use the PDF rather than the image, set scaling to 100% (not “fit to page”), and pick the file that matches your paper — A4 outside the US, Letter inside it. Printing in grayscale or draft mode saves a lot of ink. Full printing guide →
