10 things to do with a finished coloring page
Colouring is only half of it. Here is what to do with the page once the pencils go down.
1. Holiday Card Creation
Cut out the finished coloring page to the size of a standard greeting card. Fold a piece of cardstock in half and glue the colored page to the front. Write a personal message inside for a unique holiday card.
2. Gift Wrap Enhancement
Use the finished coloring page as decorative gift wrap. Cut larger pages to size and wrap around gifts, securing with tape. For smaller gifts, fold them around and use a ribbon to tie it all together for a personal touch.
3. Ornament Crafting
Cut out a colored page into a festive shape like a star or tree. Laminate the cutout with clear adhesive sheets or contact paper for durability. Add a string or ribbon to hang as a decoration on your Christmas tree.
4. Table Setting Decor
Trim the coloring page into smaller squares. Use these as unique place cards by writing each guest's name on them. Place one at each table setting for a personalized holiday dinner experience.
5. Framed Artwork
Choose a finished coloring page and cut it to fit a standard frame. Place it in the frame and hang it on the wall or display it on a shelf as part of your holiday decorations.
6. Gift Tags
Cut the coloring page into smaller rectangles or holiday-themed shapes. Punch a hole at the top and attach a string or ribbon. Write the recipient’s name on it for a creative gift tag.
7. Storybook Creation
Gather several finished coloring pages and stack them together. Use a hole punch to make holes along one side and bind them with ribbon or yarn to create a custom holiday storybook for children.
8. Puzzle Making
Glue the finished coloring page onto a piece of cardboard. Once dry, cut it into several puzzle pieces. Store them in a small bag or box for a fun, personalized puzzle activity.
9. Window Decorations
Cut out festive shapes from the finished coloring pages. Use double-sided tape to attach them to windows or glass doors. This adds a cheerful touch to your home while showcasing your child's artwork.
10. Classroom Sharing
Photocopy the finished coloring pages and distribute them to classmates as a holiday activity. Encourage everyone to color their pages, then share and display their work in the classroom.
How to print these pages
Use the PDF rather than the image, set scaling to 100% (not “fit to page”), and pick the file that matches your paper — A4 outside the US, Letter inside it. Printing in grayscale or draft mode saves a lot of ink. Full printing guide →
